Hello, everyone! Happy 2021…?
First of all, I’d like to apologize for the lack of updates since our last post. Rest assured, we are still alive. Work on the project slowed down a lot on my end since our last post due to various reasons. JamRules, on the other hand, has been busy working on the Phantasy Star Online 2 fan-translation project.
We’re aware that patch 0.9 contains untranslated text, missing textures and subtitles, amongst other issues. Regarding certain chapters not having translated text, the script files are mostly translated, and they just need to be inserted after QA. We’ll be trying to get these ironed out for our main patch release.
Some of the things still pending include :
- finish wrapping up the translation
- assurance of the quality of certain textures and movie files
- review of consistency of names, locations, etc.
Again, sorry for the radio silence. I’m hoping we can speed things up soon. Also, we could always use testers to find bugs and errors. If you would like to help us out, please feel free to reach out to us on here, or privately on GBATemp.

Speaking JamRules, he did mention Sol Trigger in one of his replies saying that he is planning on getting back at it and finishing the whole thing, so fingers crossed that he’ll be on board sooner than later!

Glad to hear that you’re working on this. I love this game, so if you need anything, I’d be glad to help, if I can. I don’t know anything about coding or Japanese, but if you need a play tester or some help in wording English, I’d be happy to help out.

For the project? No, I don’t think this project is anywhere near popular enough to warrant a Discord server, I think! For now, the project info’s just on GBATemp.

Idk why but here I am. I am just reminiscing about gba,nds, and psp game. Suddenly I remember about this awesome game. Good job guys for translation. Also, all the fucker who stole this group job should burn to hell.
